0-5 sessions and Youth Centre

We have just added a page for the 0-5 activities in our Centre. You can see what we do and when on our sessions timetable page here.

Also added is a timetable for the Youth Centre. As we add sessions we will update this page to keep you informed. See the Youth Centre timetable here.

We’ve also created a link on our pages for Ginger Theatre Arts – this local arts organisation is run by Becky, who delivers most of our performing arts work. Check them out.

Maybe we’ll see you on our Volunteer Day on the Wednesday 20th?

Creative Choices?

The Creative Choices web site is a great way to dip into further learning about the subjects that you are passionate about.

The site has 100 free, short courses you can access. Every month the site offers access to modules, that do not even require the simple registration form to be completed.

This month Creative Choices have a module on Thinking Creatively: Developing your personal creativity.

Simple and effective, the short on-line pages help you think about yourself, problem solving and how what others have done to achieve their goals can help you.

Whether it’s starting a new business, getting involved in drama or art, whatever your passion – knowing more about yourself is a great way to get the best from new opportunities.

Give it a try – developed by The Open University for you.

Get Fabulous with the Family this weekend

Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery are having a Fab Sunday this week.

If you are old enough to remember the swinging 1960’s or even remember family members talking about it – get along to Norwich Castle.

You can dress up in 60’s vintage clothes, get a 60’s makeover by vintage hair and beauty stylists too.

There will be dancing to some ‘groovy tunes’ too.  We’re feeling tired already….

The event coincides with the Beatles to Bowie exhibition: The 60’s Exposed which is currently on display at the museum.

Drop-in event on Sunday 18th July 2010 – from 1pm to 4.00pm (Regular museum charges apply).
