Surf’s up for Seniors in Kings Lynn Library

If you are interested in learning about computers, the internet and email, then the library in Kings Lynn will be running a series of courses for beginners in the New Year.

The first course will run for six weeks, on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am – 12.00noon, beginning on 5 January.

There will be a small group of learners on each course, and you’ll be helped along the way and given time to work at your own pace.

Kings Lynn Festival 18th – 31st July 2010

Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain - imageThe Kings Lynn Festival reaches its Diamond Jubilee this year.

Running from the 18th to the 31st July, the Festival this year has some great entertainment for all tastes. Whether you like music concerts, art, history or just a good laugh – there is something in the programme for everyone.

The BBC Concert Orchestra is playing this year, but so is the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain. The comedian Barry Cryer will be doing stand-up too.

60 years old, but the Kings Lynn Festival offers something lively and interesting for everyone…and it’s just down the road.
