Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery are having a Fab Sunday this week.
If you are old enough to remember the swinging 1960’s or even remember family members talking about it – get along to Norwich Castle.
You can dress up in 60’s vintage clothes, get a 60’s makeover by vintage hair and beauty stylists too.
There will be dancing to some ‘groovy tunes’ too. We’re feeling tired already….
The event coincides with the Beatles to Bowie exhibition: The 60’s Exposed which is currently on display at the museum.
Drop-in event on Sunday 18th July 2010 – from 1pm to 4.00pm (Regular museum charges apply).
This time of year families and children are often off to visit friends and relatives.
The NHS have just launched a new healthy travel web site for for parents and children setting off on their holidays.
The National Travel Health Network and Centre, NaTHNaC for short, offer parents and carers loads of advice, signposting to telephone support lines and a wealth of good general travel advice.
If you’re planning a trip with the children this summer, bookmark the NaTHNaC pages or follow their health bulletins on Twitter.
Have a great time.
