What will we do with the SEC Bus?
Help young people get to other venues, villages and events.
Establish regular, daily service runs for functions like family childcare or youth clubs etc.
Provide transport for shopping visits to adjacent towns and communities.
Help older, less able people to move across the county and the local community.
To offer a hire service for the vehicle, helping promote safe, accessible social occasions outside the community.
Support young people with access to training and transport to other towns and communities for example.
Specific trips to hospitals and doctor appointments in other localities.
We will spend the project funds on volunteer training, driver training, insurance, book keeping and booking systems, maintenance, fuel and cleaning - giving you the best community transport service we can.
